Presidents
Jacob Gottfried: 16th Regional Godol
Jacob is currently serving as your 16th Regional Godol and has been a member of Gold Coast Region since August 2016. He is a senior at Olympic Heights High School in Boca Raton and is a co-founder of Charles Schusterman AZA #2370. Jacob’s favorite part about BBYO is building personal connections with every Aleph and BBG he meets; he loves inspiring his peers and mentees. In his free time, you can find Jacob at the beach or park playing Spikeball.
Brooke Schwartz: 16th Regional N'Siah

Brooke Schwartz is currently serving as your 16th Regional N’siah and has been a member of BBYO for the past four years. Hailing from L’Olam BBG in Weston, Brooke’s favorite part of BBYO is our MIT AIT/LTI Convention, where new and older members come together to learn, grow, and connect with one another. She cannot wait to get to know as many people as she can within the region this year, and cant wait to achieve more milestones with her favorite Aliens!
Our Priorities
Grow The Movement:
This year, we will maintain our growth rate ensuring that Jewish teens from Palm Beach and Broward Counties are becoming members of our brotherhood and sisterhood. 1,200 members is well within our reach through the dedication within our region!
Broaden Inclusivity Efforts:
Throughout our terms, we will place an emphasis on inclusion, ensuring that programs and events are welcoming environments for all.
Celebrate Our Wins:
GCR is our best when we’re fired up and excited about our progress! This year, we will not only celebrate the strengthening of our chapters, programs, and conventions, but also those members who played an integral role in getting us there.
Increased Regional Engagement:
In our 16th year, Gold Coast Region will have an renewed sense of pride for our region, increasing overall involvement. By creating new opportunities to get involved on every level, we will ensure each member gets what they want out of their BBYO experience.
